Thank you to everyone who came out to walk the Zombie Trail on Friday night! It was a perfect evening to be SCARED by the fabulous volunteer Zombies in the woods. Parents, teachers, administrators, and High School students donned Zombie attire to scare anyone who dared enter the trail! Check out the full album of fabulous photos from the event.
Thank you to the people who helped organize this event. Ann had the grand plan and master organization sheet, keeping everyone on track. Torie was our expert Zombie leader, providing excellent details for make-up, fake blood and scab recipes and tips for being a scary or not so scary Zombie, Teresa created our posters and signage, and Amy made the Facebook Event page. Nancy headed up the volunteer popcorn crew, Meggan organized the money, Christina purchased water for the event and made copies to distribute to the kids. Countless others volunteered their time, dressed up and got into the Halloween Spirit for this 3rd annual event.
Also a big thank you to parents for signing permission slips, sending your kids and helping to support the PTO!
Zombie Night is one of our largest fundraisers for the year. We earned $745.37 this year! This money will go to support the kids and their teachers at Trumansburg Middle School. The breakdown for profit/expense is:
