In attendance: Ann, Jeannie, Tori, Christina, Teresa, Karen, Scott
The Staff Slam group is meeting to plan the event. They sent out an email blast today. Ann reported that she has many volunteer spots filled but needs people to sign up for bake sale shifts, hoop shot and front door/raffle tickets. Please help with this awesome event by volunteering.

The Staff Slam planning committee decided at the meeting to let each school designate their funds to the place that they believe will be most appropriate for their school. Scott Miller suggested that the Middle School direct some of the proceeds towards the McLennan family. After discussion, the PTO decided to direct the Staff Slam proceeds toward the bathroom build. They will look into a gift for Angela and family or scholarship in Matt’s memory from MSPTO. More discussion will follow at the next meeting. There was discussion of having Game Night proceeds go toward that cause. Announcements to that effect would be made.
Scott Miller had an idea to ask for MS volunteers to take donations in the crowds at Staff Slam. Ultimately the group decided to have the mascots work the crowds at the slam. The winner of Mascot contest will walk the stands during the 3rd game break.
Flier for Staff Slam will be added to report cards. The report cards go out the week before break.
Game Night is Friday January 31st. There is a half day of school this day. Scott Miller will take Staff volunteer list to Mr. P-L and get slots filled soon. Contact Teresa at tsawester@gmail.com to help.
Parent volunteers are needed for the following slots on Game Night:
- Parent Party Room
- Silent Auction Organizer
- Gym (Supervise games and climbing ropes)
- Board games in Library
- Raffle Tickets and Admission at front door
Scott had an idea to ask MS kids to vote for their favorite wheel of Misfortune game. This also doubles as PR for game night.
